Our Governance Framework

We are committed to strong and effective governance, supported by clear structures and transparent processes. Our Articles of Association and Shareholders’ Agreement set out how the company is governed and define the relationship between the Board and our Member Practices.

The Board is supported by specialist committees that provide oversight in key areas. The Finance and Performance Committee, chaired by a Non-Executive Director, meets every two months to oversee financial management and overall performance. The Quality and Safety Committee, also led by a Non-Executive Director, meets monthly to ensure we maintain high standards of care and service delivery.

This inclusive approach helps ensure our organisation is safe, effective, and sustainable for the people and communities we serve.

Care Quality Commission (CQC)

NPC is registered with the CQC to provide regulated activities.  Mr James Leeming is our CQC Registered Manager.  See of our latest CQC Inspection Report here.
