NPC is a leading force in healthcare innovation and delivery, making our system better by working with and on behalf of primary care and our healthcare partners.
Our 5-Year (2024-29) Business Strategy outlines a comprehensive plan to build on past successes and adapt to emerging healthcare challenges. Having evolved from the North Norfolk Primary Care, NPC rebranded and restructured as a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2024 to better serve its objectives and local healthcare needs. Our strategy sets out our strategic objectives to drive NPC’s activities over five years, focusing on differentiation through innovation and collaborative care.
At the core of our strategic direction is a commitment to three key differentiators that define our approach:
Key Objectives
Through this approach, NPC aims to stand out as a leading force in healthcare delivery and innovation in the Norfolk & Waveney ICS, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care and addressing key challenges through innovative solutions.
But why…
It is also important to outline ‘why’ we do this and what drives a group of people to coalesce within NPC and strive to perform.
Our organisational core values are to provide high quality care that is accessible by all, is driven by good teamwork and collaboration, all of which is supported by good leadership and carried out with integrity.
NPC is driven by the desire to bring about meaningful change in healthcare delivery. This motivation stems from the belief that things within the NHS can be improved. The senior team, with years of experience in working within and alongside the NHS, sees NPC as an opportunity for transformation and enhancement, aiming to position General Practices in Norfolk and Waveney as key players in the healthcare system.
NPC recognises that General Practices are a hub of innovation and creativity, often outpacing the wider system in their approach. However, without proper support and organisation, this potential isn’t fully realised on a large scale. NPC aims to bridge this gap by organising practices to operate more effectively within the broader healthcare system, ensuring that their innovative solutions and talented staff can deliver improved care at scale.
Furthermore, our executive team is committed to developing an organisation with motivated staff, creating a sustainable healthcare model that serves the community for years. By continuing to grow, we envision building a shared, resilient healthcare organization that benefits both healthcare providers and patients, fostering long-term improvements in care.
Our company values provide a set of lived touchstone principles that underpin all our work, ethos and behaviours.
Patient focused wrap around health care in the local community and beyond.
Acting ethically and remaining accountable.
Partnering to deliver quality services.
Leading the way, building trust and being efficient.
We aim to ensure that our shared values are adopted and incorporated into our team. We aim to appreciate and value each other to enable us to undertake our work in a safe, happy environment.
Inclusive and open to all.
