Earning an MBA is a fantastic achievement, especially while balancing a full-time role and everything else that life throws your way. Amy’s commitment, perseverance and dedication to continuous learning have been inspiring, and this milestone is thoroughly well deserved.
Over the course of the programme, Amy has explored topics including Strategy, Finance Management, and Leadership. One of the biggest things she has taken away from the experience is the importance of stepping back from day-to-day operational pressures to think more strategically, consider the wider organisational context, and make evidence-based decisions.
When asked about the journey, Amy said:
“Completing an MBA alongside a busy full-time role has certainly been challenging, but it has also been an incredibly rewarding experience. One of the highlights for me was the opportunity to learn alongside and network with peers from a wide range of industries. Hearing different perspectives and approaches gave me a much more holistic understanding of business beyond my own sector.
I particularly enjoyed the consultancy module, which gave me the opportunity to apply what I had learned to a real-world business challenge and bring together different aspects of the programme. The MBA has broadened my thinking, challenged me to look at problems from different perspectives and strengthened my confidence as a leader. I’m really proud to have completed it and excited to put what I’ve learned into practice.”
Julie Cave, NPC’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer added:
“Congratulations Amy! This is such a well-deserved achievement. It’s been fantastic to see the dedication and effort you’ve put into reaching this milestone, and we’re all incredibly proud of you. I can’t wait to see how you put everything you’ve learned into practice, and I’m excited to see what you’ll achieve next. Enjoy celebrating – you’ve earned it!”
Congratulations once again to Amy on this fantastic achievement. Everyone at NPC is incredibly proud of what she has accomplished, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact of everything she has learned as she continues her career.
